God Adores You

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life — forever.

“God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die.” (John 3:16, CEV)

“Jesus said, ‘I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.’” (John 10:10, CEV)

Why are we so far from God if God intended for us to have peace and life?

We are Separated from God.

We have chosen to disobey God and go our own way since the beginning of time. This is a decision we still make today.

As a result, we are estranged from God.

“All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness.” (Romans 3:23, CEV)

Sin is choosing to say or do or think things that are against God’s plan.

“The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God’s gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23, CEV)

There is only one way to communicate with God.

Jesus Christ died for our Sins.

God's Son is Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can return us to God. Jesus died on the Cross and rose again. He atoned for our sins and bridged the chasm between God and humanity.

“There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only One who can bring us to God.” (1 Timothy 2:5, CEV)

“Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God.” (1 Peter 3:18, CEV)

God has provided the only way; we must choose.

We Must Accept Christ

We must have faith in Jesus Christ to forgive our sins, accept Him as our Savior, and serve Him as our Lord.

“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believed on His name.” (John 1:12, NASB)

Dear Lord Jesus,

I recognize that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again to give me life. I am aware that You are the only road to God. Terry Rd Community Church is in the heart of South Jackson on Terry Road. We believe in the community and are dedicated to restoring life, economic development, and youth involvement. Our build was destroyed when a car ran into it. Your giving will allow us to continue to do the work of the Father.
